Pune (Voice News Service) : 22 year old\u00a0 from India Shrikrishna Suryanarayanan, ruled the Green Baize Table today with a masterly crafted 5-1 win over Habib Sabah of Bahrain\u00a0 to win the 2022 World Men 6Red Snooker Champion at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shrikrishna\u2019s accurate potting, precise cue control, Breaks of 63, 39, & 39 saw him through the finals. We at BSFI are proud of this achievement, said Mr Rajan Khinvasara, President of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India(BSFI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The hunger to win the title was clearly evident on Shrikrishna’s face and in his body language. The first frame he captured scoring 51 against 4 when Habib levelled the match by winning the next frame 39-00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the third frame, Shrikrishna went all around the table to score a magnificent break of 63 points and then in the next 39 points to keep Habib on zero scoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 5th frame, Habib missed after making 7 points. Instantly Shrikrishna captured the frame with another break of 45 points and next again after getting a chance on 2 points of Habib, Shrikrishna went ahead to accumulate a total 43 points to close the proceedings 5-1 and to become World Champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thor Chuan Leong from the host nation Malaysia and Issara Kachaiwong from Thailand stayed semi-finalists and received bronze medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
