The organizations invited and ensured participation from the tribal communities and tribes. The International Day of the World\u2019s Indigenous Peoples is celebrated globally on 9 August and this year made it more special along with the 75<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0year of Indian independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/timesofpowerandvoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/DSC00031-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7058\" srcset=\"https:\/\/timesofpowerandvoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/DSC00031-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/timesofpowerandvoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/DSC00031-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/timesofpowerandvoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/DSC00031-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/timesofpowerandvoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/DSC00031-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/timesofpowerandvoice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/DSC00031-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The activities included painting competitions, inauguration of Aashram schools, marathon races, dance competitions, rangoli competitions, folk dance performances, singing competitions, release of colourful balloons in the air along with school students, felecitating tribal students who have passed 10<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;and 12<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Class for their outstanding performances amongst others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr.Rajendra Bharud- Commissioner, Tribal Research &amp; Training Institute, Pune extended his wishes and said, \u201cThe day is of huge significance to all tribals of Maharashtra and TRTI along with its partner associations, ensures such activities, motivate tribal students to participate and gain confidence\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shri.Shyamkant Daundkar &#8211; Administrative Officer of the Department, said that it is necessary to create awareness among the tribal community about tribal ashram schools so that more kids can be educated and it creates job opportunities for a better and brighter future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shr.
