Pune (P&V News Service) :- Cambridge International has announced the winners of its prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for 2020-21. This year,150 Indian students have scooped 177 of the highly sought-after Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for 2020-21 as compared to 127 students last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are the hallmark of exceptional student achievement in Cambridge exams around the world.They recognise students\u2019 achievements in a wide range of Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The global awards acknowledgestudent success in four categories \u2013 \u2018Top in the World\u2019, \u2018Top in Country\u2019, \u2018High Achievement Award\u2019 and \u2018Best Across Subjects<\/a>[1]<\/sup><\/a>\u2019. Out of 150 unique winners across the country,57 winners are from Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, 25 students have won \u2018Top in Country\u2019, 16 students have won \u2018Top inthe World\u2019, 11 students have won \u2018High Achievement Award\u2019 and five students have won \u2018Best Across Subjects\u2019 awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Altogether, 42 students in Indiascooped the highly coveted \u2018Top in the World\u2019 award, which is awarded to students who achieve the highest marks in the world in a particular subject. In addition, 65 won the \u2018Top in Country\u2019 award and 17 won the \u2018Best across Subjects\u2019 award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Mahesh Shrivastava, Regional Director, South Asia, Cambridge Assessment International Education <\/strong>said, \u201cI would like to congratulate all of our award winners across India for their truly amazing achievements in theirrecent exams. What they have all achieved, during such a challenging year is incredible. The pandemic has continued to disrupt teaching and learning around the world, creating a great deal of uncertainty for students and teachers alike.
