Pune:<\/strong>\u00a0Demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility,\u00a0Amanora YES Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0has adopted the\u00a0Suryodaya Pardhi Samaj Tribal Ashram School<\/strong>\u00a0in Khamgaon, Buldhana district, and developed a state-of-the-art sports complex along with an indoor auditorium for its students. The grand facility will be inaugurated by\u00a0Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Pujaniya Dr. Mohan Bhagwat<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0August 8, 2026<\/strong>, announced\u00a0Aniruddha Deshpande<\/strong>, Chairman of Amanora YES Foundation and City Group, during a press conference.\u00a0Vivek Kulkarni<\/strong>\u00a0was also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n

The Ashram School was originally established by\u00a0Pujaniya Bhaiyyuji Maharaj<\/strong>. In 2014,\u00a0Shri Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Paramarthik Trust<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Amanora YES Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0assumed responsibility for the institution. To encourage students to excel in sports, the Foundation has developed dedicated volleyball, handball, and basketball courts, along with a fully equipped indoor auditorium.<\/p>\n

The Ashram School currently provides education to around\u00a0750 students<\/strong>\u00a0from the Pardhi tribal community. In addition to academic education, vocational training has also been introduced to enhance students’ employability. Courses in\u00a0Electrician, Plumbing, Motor Mechanic, and Beauty & Wellness<\/strong>\u00a0are now being offered at the school.<\/p>\n

Under the Foundation’s\u00a0‘Swayamsiddha’ initiative<\/strong>, girl students manufacture attractive cloth bags from recycled sarees. Each student receives\u00a0\u20b925 per bag<\/strong>, enabling them to earn while learning. Through this initiative,\u00a0\u20b910,000 has been credited to the account of each participating girl student<\/strong>, and the amount will be formally presented to them by\u00a0Dr. Mohan Bhagwat<\/strong>\u00a0during the inauguration ceremony on August 8, Aniruddha Deshpande informed.<\/p>\n

For several years,\u00a0Amanora YES Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0has been actively implementing a range of social and educational initiatives. Besides providing scholarships to deserving girls from rural areas, the Foundation has financially supported the higher education of numerous students. These scholarships have transformed lives, enabling the daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver to become a doctor, the daughter of an Anganwadi worker to become an IT engineer, and the daughter of a vegetable vendor to become a government officer.<\/p>\n

The Foundation has also awarded the\u00a0Meera Deshpande Scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0worth\u00a0\u20b911 lakh<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a040 nursing students<\/strong>. Additionally, for the past eight years, it has been honouring the dedicated support staff, including ward assistants and caregivers at\u00a0Sassoon General Hospital<\/strong>, with the\u00a0Meera Deshpande Seva Samman Award<\/strong>\u00a0in recognition of their invaluable service, Deshpande added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
