More than a hundred short films from India and abroad were screened at this short film festival, which was held at Prabhugyan Mandir in Pune on December 27 and 28. Of these, 35 of the best short films were given awards in various categories. The awards were distributed by senior writer and journalist Subhashchandra Jadhav. The festival director, Yogesh Barskar, was also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n
The short film ‘God’, directed by Nilesh Jadhav, was declared the best Indian short film, while Shibu Sable received the Best Indian Director award for the short film ‘Kuch Rishte Kuch Yaadein’. Amit Bobade was honored with the Best Indian Short Film Screenplay award for the short film ‘Stealing Glasses’. The short film ‘Starting Point’, directed by Black & Darshan, was declared the best international short film, while Steffi Roma received the Best International Short Film Director award for the short film ‘Upper Floor’. Davis Laverson was honored with the Best Short Film Screenplay award for the short film ‘One Time Please’. Abhishek Gupta received the Best Actor award for the short film ‘Shortlist’. The Best Actress award was shared between Chetna Gawli for her role in the short film ‘Missing’ and Shejal Jadhav for her role in the short film ‘Mukur’.
