The scientific program featured sessions on topics such as epigenetics of addiction, changing cannabis policies, digital interventions in tobacco use, advances in addiction management and management of new psychoactive substances. A panel discussion on social and familial determinants of substance use concluded the event. Organized by the Department of Psychiatry in collaboration with the Poona Psychiatrists’ Society and the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) Pune Branch, the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program served as a vital platform for knowledge exchange, professional networking and academic discussions. With 135 psychiatrists<\/strong> in attendance, the event fostered discussions on emerging trends and innovative treatment approaches in addiction psychiatry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
