The game was started in the club in 1998.<br>Mumbai&#8217;s Sherwin Rodrigues emerged winners with 19games at the\u00a0 Poona Club Scrabble tournament which is being organized by Poona Club Ltd and played at Cinema Hall, Poona Club.\u00a0\u00a0Sherwin was &#8221; gibsonised&#8221; which means the 2nd placed winner has no chance of overtaking him. For the first time live streaming of players on Table 1 of Group A was done. Games could be viewed all over the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total 44 players&nbsp;participated in this event. They were divided into A and B group with a National rating above 1100 were in Group A and Those with&nbsp;rating&nbsp;below 1100 were in Group B.&nbsp; Sherwin Rodrigues of Mumbai won in Group A with 19 games. While Udayan Grover of Pune and Ishika Shivlinghai of Bengaluru finished second and third position respectively. In Group B Ms Nalini of Bengaluru won the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner got a trophy.
