Pune (Voice News Service): Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative (APCCI) was recently honored with the Swachh Champion Award 2023 at the Swachh Technology Challenge and Swachh Award distribution ceremony under the Zero Waste Project recently organized by the Pune Municipal Corporation. The program was organized at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Art Gallery at Ghole Road. Chief Guest and Minister of Higher and Technical Education and Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil , well-known musician, singer and Swachh brand ambassador Dr. Salil Kulkarni, along with Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Additional Commissioner Dr. Kunal Khemnar and Deputy Commissioner of Solid Waste Management Department Asha Raut and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Malhar Karwande Chief Operating Officer, APCCO accepted the award on behalf of APCCI. APCCI was felicitated for its commendable work such as planning and maintenance of waste vehicles, manpower management, waste planning at IEC laboratories and housing societies, road repair survey, coordination with Pune Municipal Corporation officials and tree plantation near Sant Gadge Maharaj Vasti in Ward 21.
