BNCA organises 26th Graduation Ceremony

Pune : MKSSS’s  Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women, recently organised it’s 26th Graduation ceremony for over 175 students including those from undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Mr.Avinash Patil, Director Town Planning Department and Valuation, Maharashtra State, Dr. Anurag Kashyap, Principal BNCA, Dr. Sharvey Dhongde, Vice Principal BNCA along with faculty members and parents were present on the occasion,

Students excelling in their education were felicitated with certificates at the hands of the dignitaries. Among the students who stood first and received certificates were Pooja Shah (Digital Architecture), Rituja Date (Environmental Architecture) and Mrigaja Pawar (Landscape Architecture),

In  undergraduate program Kajal Garwal, Apoorva Kate,  Aditi Ranware, Nikita Mohol , Monica Sathe , Shamita Pai, Shreya Kolte for securing highest marks in final year and architectural design project.

Mr. Avinash Patil said that along with private sector business and jobs, there will be ample job opportunities for the architect professionals in the public works department (PWD) and town planning department of the state. Creating Design is the foundation of architecture, there is a growing requirement of such manpower in government jobs.

Dr. Kashyap elaborated on the achievements of BNCA in the past three decades, and said that the graduate said that along with becoming good professionals, students should become good entrepreneurs and employers as well . BNCA as a family will stand firmly behind such youngsters throughout their life.

Dr. Dhongde appreciated the arduous journey of the graduates through the Covid-19 pandemic.

A written report of the National Conference on the topic ‘Built and Beyond 2.0: Theory, Practice and Pedagogy’ was released on the occasion in presence of Dr. Swati Sahasrabudhe, Head of Research Center of BNCA.

The ceremony was moderated by students Aditi Sapkal, Janhvi Ketkar and Isha Chaudhary, while Prof. Saurabh Marathe proposed a vote of thanks.
