Ramchandani Super Giants, Aswani Royals won the title of the third season of the Aswani Cricket Cup

Pune: The Aswani Cricket Cup Season 3 (ACC3) culminated in a spectacular finale, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship and competition. In men’s cricket the Ramchandani Super Giants, while in the women’s dodgeball, the Aswani Royals won the title of the third season of the Aswani Cricket Cup. The tournament was held at Mrunal Garden, Pune, showcasing thrilling performances in women’s dodgeball and men’s cricket.

A women’s dodgeball match was played between Royal Challengers Varun and Aswani Royals. The 8-minute game, divided into 4 minutes of dodging and 4 minutes of hitting, kept the audience on the edge of their seats. Aswani Royals, playing their first ACC season, set a high bar by scoring 26 hits, with standout performances from Jiya Joukani and Reshma Sukheja, each contributing 7 hits. Royal Challengers Varun, the defending champions from ACC Season 2, managed 14 hits, resulting in a decisive victory for the Aswani Royals. Diamond Super Queens, owned by Shikha Sewani and Somya Sewani, secured third place.

The Women’s Dodgeball winner got the prize of Rs. 1,11,111/-, while the Runner-up team got Rs. 55,555/- along with the trophy. Top Performers in Women’s Dodgeball awarded with EV Scooters for their exceptional performances are Yakret Ranjjhhani (Overall Performance (Hitting & Dodging)), Sanchi Dudani (Highest Hits), Diksha Khubchandani (Highest Dodging Points), Mahi Chawlani (Best Emerging Young Player), Mishty Tejwani (Best Emerging Young Player).

Men’s Cricket Final was a thrilling contest and it is played between the Ramchandani Super Giants and the Pimpri Indians. Opting to bat first, Ramchandani Super Giants posted a competitive score of 98/4 in their 12 overs, with notable contributions from Himanshu (24 runs), Karan Aswani (20 runs), and Raunak Batra (17 runs).

Pimpri Indians, despite a strong effort, fell short, scoring 82/8 in 11.1 overs, handing a 16-run victory to the Ramchandani Super Giants. The match was a showcase of excellent cricket, with crucial performances from bowlers Kamal Jethani and Karan Aswani of Ramchandani Super Giants, and Manish Nagdev of Pimpri Indians.

The winner of the Men’s Cricket was awarded Rs. 5,55,555/- + Rs. 2,00,000/- from Ghansham Sukhwani and Sagar Sukhwani, while the runner-up team got Rs. 3,33,333/- and the trophy. Manish Nagdev was named the Most Valuable Player and was gifted a Skoda Kushaq along with the MVP trophy.

Karan Aswani (Ramchandani Super Giants) as Best Batsman, Ronak Batra (Ramchandani Super Giants) as Best Bowler, Rohit Mulchandani (Tilwani Chargers) as Best Fielder,Rahul Samtani (Pimpri Indians) as Best Catch, Jeetu Pahlani (Pimpri Indians) as Best Wicketkeeper, Aswani Daredevils (Owner Sri Aswani) got the Fairplay Award.

Srichand Aswani, Founder of ACC and Owner of Aswani Promotors & Builders said that the ACC3 finale drew an impressive crowd, with over 800 people attending the matches at the venue. The men’s finals alone saw a turnout of more than 500 spectators. Additionally, the event garnered significant online attention, with the final day’s YouTube stream achieving over 15,000 views. Local TV cable channels also broadcast the matches live to more than 200 homes. The grand finale marked the end of an exciting season with 16 teams competing fiercely for the title. The Aswani Cricket Cup Season 3 not only highlighted the talent and determination of the players but also strengthened the sense of community and sportsmanship among participants and supporters alike.
