Double crown for Padmashree , Arpita  at  First SOMESHWAR TROPHY  PDMBA  District Badminton  Championships  2022

Pune : Padmashree Pillay and Arpita Ardey  won a memorable double crowns winning two titles 

at the  First ever   SOMESHWAR TROPHY  PDMBA   District Badminton  Championships  being organised by the Someshwar Foundation  on the occasion of Ex MLA  Vinayak Nimhan’s Birthday under the auspices of the Poona District & Metropolitan Badminton Association  and being played at the  Life Sports , Someshwarwadi , Pashan 

In the Girls  Under 13  Padmashree Pillai  registered a 15-9, 15-4  win over  Ananya Kamat  , she also won the Girls  Under 15

 event  rallying out  Sanvi Patil 15-4, 15-9 .  Arpita Pandey easiy accounted for Samiksha Gargate 15-3 ,15-2 to lift the Girls  Under 17 title  ,  she then came back to lift the Girls  Under 19 title  putting out  Priya Shelke 15-8, 15-4 in the finals  Lalit Chandra  Atmakuru  , 

Sanvi Patil  , Abhigyanl Singha , Varad Landge , Avishkar Masal  , Pranav Gawde  were the other winners in their age groups . The winners  were awarded   trophies  and certificates. which  were given away at the hands of Sunny Vinayak Nimhan Corporator PMC, and  Ganesh Nimhan director Life fitness, Pashan ,  Tournament Coordinator Mustak Ali, Amol Haribhakt, Sagar Mantreshi  were present on the occasion.
